]]> N & I have been talking about purchasing a new camera for about 6+ months now. After endless hours of research we still haven’t pulled the trigger. Why, I don’t know. So my question is this — do you prefer Canon or Nikon? I’ve always been a Canon girl, but I here great things about Nikon.

We have a perfectly good Canon point and shoot I purchased back in 2008, but we want to upgrade. I would love to capture better pictures of the house, DIY projects, Travels and maybe even end up with a few Tahoe photos worth framing for the wall. So which do you prefer? What do you use to capture life’s greatest moments?

]]> After researching like a mad woman, searching the nation, and waiting weeks my new camera finally arrived today. I was starting to think I would be visiting Italy with only a mental camera. In the end I decided to go with the Brown  Canon SD 1100.

Since Nick and I are both practical gift givers for my birthday he equipped me with all the extras I needed  for the camera. One of the coolest things was the Gorillapod. With the gorillapod I will able to travel anywhere and not have to worry about  having someone take my picture. Good job Nick!
