Let the Dogs Play

Roxy loves the snow. So when we received feet upon feet last month she was ready to romp. Usually when I’m shoveling I’ll let her out in the front to play. Well one morning her boyfriend Astro was out front and they had a blast running through the 2 feet of snow in the street. Yes they were in the street, we were waiting for the plow to come by. Check out a few photos below.

HIking Lake Tahoe :: Echo Lakes & Grass Lake

Roxy’s favorite thing to do is trail blazing… hiking… and well swimming. The past two weekends we’ve taken her on some nice long hikes. Below are some pic’s of our Echo Lakes & Grass Lake hike. I think we have the world’s happiest dog. Don’t you?

Stella & Roxy

Last week Nick and I did a quick So Cal turn-around hitting Long Beach and Carlsbad. We saw tons of old friends and family. One night was spent with old friends Jenn & Nick. They too have a puppy, well Stella is a year now. Before we were even in the door Roxy and Stella were going at it. Jenn let her hair down and the girls wrestled in the living room. At one point we were able to calm them down long enough for Nick to snap the shot below. Needless to say both dogs slept very well that night! Until next time…

A Dogs Life…

In all her glory.

Having a dog is like having a little person in your life. You have to feed them, walk them, and take them to the doctor when they’re a sicky monster. Roxy has been a great addition to my life. She makes me laugh. She’s such a funny dog and for those of you who know her know she’s a talker. Don’t worry she will let you know!

She is one of the most spoiled dogs I know and is never home alone. She loves her daily romps through the meadow and her play dates at the dog park. It’s easy living for this one. Roxy is now 9 months and nearly 60 pounds and nothing but love. Check out more photos by Ms. Ali Biggs below.

I can’t believe I’ve had Roxy for 3 months already. She starts dog training classes this week. Hopefully we can teach her how to walk nice and not pull. I think the pictures speak for her growth.
