Grads + San Diego

That’s right Marcus graduated from college and Wednesday he moves to Colorado Springs!!! We all couldn’t be more proud. Here’s how the weekend went down.

Friday morning we watched the little bro walk.

Then there was a seafood feast…

Crab, shrimp, corn, potatoes and lobster

The Angels were in town so were headed downtown for a friendly game. Marcus rocked his new Weaver jersey.

Reno Aces

Sometimes life passes by and you forget to blog about cool events in your life…or sometimes you’re just not feeling it. Over the past few months I’ve tried to be a better blogger and with that here’s me catching up on my Summer blogging

Back in the beginning of August I attended my first Heavenly Media Baseball event, a Reno Aces game. The SF Giants game was actually the second event. If you were in Tahoe August 8th you remember the crazy hail storm, rain, wind and whatever else the gods had in store that day -bottom line it was insane. Well Aimi X. and I were in Reno while all this was taking place on the Mountain. In Reno we had the sky open up and pour buckets, lighting only a few miles away, and flash flood warnings. The game was obviously delayed. Just when we thought they were going to cancel the game the rain stopped just long enough to actually play 9 innings! Don’t asked who they played as I don’t remember, but we had a great time and ate tons of brownies, peanuts and popcorn.

A Padre Among Giants

With the SD Padres leading their division and the SF Giants pushing for the wild card Sunday’s game (August 15th) should have been one to watch. However it was a blow out, the Padres won 8-2! Even though it may not have been the most exciting game I still had a great time. I was able to join the Heavenly PR team in the Oracle suite which over looks McCovey Cove for their annual Media Day. We mingled watched the game and had LOTS of peanuts and Cracker Jacks.

As a Padre fan among Giants I made sure to tone down the excitement of a victorious win… as I was in their territory. Check out the pictures below. Click here for last years game. Until next time!

Giants vs. Rockies

Sunday, August 30th I had the opportunity to check out a Giants game from a luxury box. The Giants were playing the Rockies and this wasn’t any old game, it was a very important game. If the Giants won it would tie them up with the Rockies for the wild card to the playoffs. Needless to say everyone was on the edge of there seat in the 7th inning when the Giants were down 5-2 with the bases loaded and 0 outs when a grand slam was hit to put them in the lead. The Giants ended up winning 9-5! Thanks to Heavenly’s Media Event I was able to see my first game at the AT&T Ballpark and to top it off from a luxury box.

Padres vs. The Rockies

The Padres were in town and we couldn’t go to San Diego without going to a Padres game. Jenn and Nick even drove down from the OC to go to the game with us. Although the Padres lost the game 6-4 we had a great time.
