I know it’s the weekend and I hope you’re having a blast, but I decided I couldn’t wait until Monday to share my latest Stitch Fix Box! Plus, I need your help. My stylist nailed it and I want to keep everything… People this has NEVER happen. I’m not going to lie, but I typically send everything back! Yup, I’ve only ever kept one piece. However, when Stitch Fix said they would waive my $20 styling fee I said what the heck. Boy am I glad I did.

So let’s dive right in.

Kut From the Kloth Callie Denim Jacket | $78
First things first I requested a denim jacket. I’ve wanted one for awhile and figured I should just ask. Lucky me there was a denim Jacket in my box. The fit is amazing and it has the perfect stretch to denim ratio. The price is on point with what you would find at Nordstrom (see here, here, and here). Bottom line it’s a great basic and fits great! Verdict: KEEP

Collective Concepts Niara Dress | $78
When I pulled this dress out of the box I thought no way. Gold stripes…come on. Then I put it on and it felt amazing. It’s doesn’t look too bad either. I could see myself pairing it with a pair of booties. Here’s the thing it’s dry clean only! I’m a low maintenance kind of gal and I just don’t know if I should buy it. Verdict: On the fence

Just Black Channing Distressed Skinny Jean | $78
Another item I specifically requested was a pair of white jeans. Again, I’ve really wanted a pair. These fit like a glove and are super soft. They are more of a stretchy jean verse true jean. While I loved these I’m sending them back because they are just a tad too see through. Verdict: RETURNED

Daniel Rain Abram Eyelet Back Detail Top | $64
While I didn’t love this top when I pulled it out of the box I loved it on. Paired with jeans or shorts this number is perfect for any backyard BBQ. Sadly it’s hand wash only and mama doesn’t have time for that. Verdict: RETURNED

Let’s move onto my recent fix.

1. Daniel Rainn Kelvin Tie Neck Tassel Top – small – $68 – Returned
A fun boho top for summer however a tad too sheer and tight in the arms for me.

2. Laju Callen Cargo Vest – small – $88 – Returned
I really want a cargo vest, but this is not it. While the color is alright I would have preferred an army green color. Either way the fit was off — too tight across my back.

3. Skies are Blue Zayada Mixed Material Sweater – small – $58 – Help I’m not sure!
The photo washes out the colors. It’s actually cream with a dusty rose sheer-ish layer.  Although the fit is perfect and it’s lightweight I’m on the fence…. which means it will likely be returned.

4. Unpublished Tessi Lace Back Top – small – $48 – returned
Do I even need to explain why I sent this back?! Just NO.

5. Pistola Dennis Jogger Pant – 27 – $88 – returned
I don’t own a pair of joggers and LOVED these, but already own two pairs of pants the same color. For that reason I’m sadly sending these back. Not only did they fit perfectly they are so soft.

After months of debating I finally broke down and signed up for my first fix. I’m now wondering why I didn’t give it a try earlier! So how does it work? It’s extremely easy — sign up, complete your style profile, pick a date to receive your fix, try on your fix in the comfort of your home and send back the items you don’t want. Oh, I left out the part that you have a personal stylist shopping for you! My stylist nailed my style and I wish I could keep everything.

Bella Boutique Joy Sterling Double Strand Necklace {$48}
I usually keep jewelry simple so this double strand circle necklace is perfect. I could wear it to the office or with a tee and jeans. Funny thing, I actually already own a necklace just like this! Status: Sent back

Fate Albright Distressed Knit Sweater {$68}
Living in Lake Tahoe I wear a lot of sweaters. This sweater is perfect for layering. The stylist suggested I pair it with flats/riding boots and skinny jeans for a casual look. I might even rock it at the office with black ankle pants, flats and simple necklace. I like that it’s different and something I probably would have never picked out for myself. Status: Kept

Three Dots Gwendolen V-Back Knit Shirt {$58}
The hubby always jokes that my weekend “uniform” is a v-neck, skinny jeans, boots and sweater. Well, the Three Dots shirt fits right into the mix. Sorry I spaced and didn’t take a photo of the back.It’s super cute and I loved the way it fit, but I couldn’t justified spending that much on a tee right now. Status: Sent back

41Hawthorn Benson Striped 3/4 Ruched Sleeve Blazer {$78}
I might have squealed when I pulled this blazer out of the box. I’m a stripes person I know everyone isn’t. This blazer is amazing and was almost a perfect fit. Unfortunately it was just a tad too tight in the shoulders. I’m blaming the small amount of shoulder padding. The stylist suggested I pair it with jeans and a tee or blouse and pencil skirt. Status: Sent back

Kut From The Kloth – Denna Dark Wash Skinny Jean {$78}
If you were wondering about the skinny jeans above well look no further they were also apart of my fix. I love skinnies and assumed I would keep these as soon as I pulled them out of the box. Well I asked for a size 4 and that’s what I received, but they were too big. First it made me feel awesome, then sad because I would have to send them back. They were super soft and stretchy, aka forgiving. Status: Sent back

For those wondering my boots are Sorel’s and they’re pretty awesome.
