OK – Actually just outside of Portland there are various waterfalls. Ones you can drive to, ones you can walk to, and well some you just have to hike to. Multnomah<\/span> Falls <\/a>is one of the most well known falls around Portland located in the Columbia River Gorge (30-35 minute drive). It’s beautiful but can be crowded on the weekends, especially if it\u2019s nice out. Other great options for hiking and waterfall-seeing nearby are Bridal Veil Falls, Wahkeena<\/span> Falls, Triple Falls, Horsetail Falls, Latourell<\/span> Falls, Punchbowl Falls, Eagle Crest, and the list goes on and on.<\/p>\n

Sue and I decided to a little hiking on Saturday before the Wedding and in the mission to find Multnomah<\/span> Falls (at least the parking for it) we ended up also seeing Horsetail Falls. Once we parked we snapped a few shots at the base and started trekking up the trail to the top of the falls (it was actually paved all the way up).<\/p>\n
