\nIt’s finally here the wedding<\/b> weekend breakdown. Our goal was to pull in natural elements that surround us everyday in Tahoe<\/b>, without going overboard. I think we accomplished just that.<\/div>\n

\nThe boutiques and boutineers were beautifully arranged by Thrands Flowers<\/a>. While my friend Lauren was the mastermind behind our Save-the-Date<\/a> and Invitation\/RSVP<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nBefore the wedding our party headed to a local meadow to snap a few photos. I rocked a lovely strapless number by Marisa<\/a>. The bridesmaids wore silk chiffon<\/a> dresses in graphite from jcrew<\/a>. They each picked out there own style – LOVE! Shoes: Nina ‘Forbes’ Peep Toe<\/a>. The groomsmen rocked charcoal grey suits from a local shop — Side Street Boutique<\/a>. Everything came together beautifully!<\/p>\n

\nWedding decor… who knew we would DIY<\/b> our own
\ncenterpieces, guest book and cupcake stand<\/a>? Guests climbed A Mountain TOGET+HER<\/i> <\/a>and dined at tables named after
\nvarious mountain peaks in Tahoe! Yours truly burned each name into mini rounds
\nNick cut from Aspen branches <\/span>(there might be an Etsy<\/a> shop
\nin my near future)<\/span>. Instead of a traditional guest book we had a
\nwishing jar <\/span>(top left)<\/span> and provided our guests with colored
\npencils to write sweet nothings or draw pictures. Next to the card basket <\/span>(lower
\nright)<\/span>
\nwere pictures of our parents and grandparents on their wedding day (lower
\nleft)<\/span>. Oh and I can’t forget the party favors — local spices Tahoe Blend or Tahoe
\nTaco from Heart Rock Herb and Spice Co.<\/a> <\/span>(upper
\nright).<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAs mentioned above our cupcake stand was made by Nick and I.
\nAren’t we crafty! Guests had their pick of treats between mini cupcakes and
\ncake truffles from Cakes by Grace<\/a>! <\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
