Normally my gear reviews live over at gear.com<\/a>, but today I’m sharing a Top 3 on this little old blog. Living in Lake Tahoe I find my summer weekends split between mountain biking
\n and all things involving water from Lake Tahoe, to smaller alpine lakes
\naround the basin or local creeks. Like any girl I have a plethora of
\nshoes. The only difference, I live in toms, rainbows or shoes specific to some
\noutdoor activity. This summer I spent a good amount of
\ntime in my water shoes, and yes I have a few pairs. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

\n3. Keen –Newport H2<\/a><\/b>
\nThey might not be the best looking, but I\u2019ve
\n been rocking these water shoes for the last three years. I received
\nthese bad boys as a gift before heading to Costa Rica<\/a> in 2009. I only packed my Keens and my go to Rainbow sandals that trip. This shoe is
\nthe perfect for hiking, biking, river floating or just
\nheading to the beach. My only complaint is if you\u2019re in super sandy
\nconditions you\u2019re bound to end up with a little in your shoe. <\/p>\n

2. Merrell – Barefoot Water Swift Glove<\/a><\/b>
\nIf
\n I could go barefoot I would, but hey Merrell has the next best thing
\nwith these water shoes. Two reasons you\u2019ll love them: one \u2013 they are so
\nlightweight it doesn\u2019t feel like you are wearing shoes, two \u2013 they have
\nfour fun colors to pick from. Personally I love Ash\/Aqua.<\/p>\n

1.Columbia – Powerdrain<\/a><\/b>
\nMatch
\n made in heaven! These are my new go to water shoes. They are perfect
\nfor hiking to any alpine lake or any adventure you might cross some
\nwater. I even sported them in rocky parts at Angora Lake a few weekends
\nago. They fit like a glove and drain like a champ. Although they are
\navailable in various colors I love the Charcoal\/ Clematis Blue and the
\nprice isn’t to shabby either. Want more details, check out the full

There you have it my top picks. However, I recommend the Columbia powerdrain hands down they are the best looking, price and all around performing.
