Believe it our not it rained last night. And to celebrate I&#8217;m rocking some sweet tall boots today at work.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\nWe&#8217;re always working on the house and sometimes I forget to blog about house details. So today I&#8217;m traveling back to last summer and chatting about how we revived our front yard. <\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\nWe live on a double lot, which means we have a massive front &amp; back yard &#8212; Roxy is in heaven! When we bought the house the grass was dead, since it was August and it would probably snow in a few months we didn&#8217;t even touch it, plus we were busy remodeling the <a href=\"http:\/\/icecreamandfrenchfries.blogspot.com\/2010\/12\/main-bath.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bathroom<\/a>. <\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/IMG_2715-768x1024.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/IMG_2715-768x1024.jpg\" width=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n2010\/11 was a long winter with record breaking snow fall, but once all the snow melted away we went to town. As you can see some grass was growing back, but it needed a lot of work.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/IMG_2744-768x1024.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/IMG_2744-768x1024.jpg\" width=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\nMy girlfriend Aly from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/cultivatingconcepts?ref=ts&amp;fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cultivating Concepts<\/a> came over and helped with irrigation <span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">(below in the backyard)<\/span>,&nbsp; while Nick and I took turns <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aeration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">aerating <\/a>the yard <span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">(above in the front yard)<\/span>. Then we seeded and fertilized over and over and over again. <\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/IMG_2741-768x1024.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/IMG_2741-768x1024.jpg\" width=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\nBy August our front lawn looked something like this!!
