There&#8217;s really no theme. I guess you could said I went for the eclectic vibe. The hubby said &#8220;Rustic + Red.&#8221; Either way I&#8217;m happy how things turned out. <\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/merry-mantel-1024x899.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/merry-mantel-1024x899.jpg\" height=\"562\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe <a href=\"http:\/\/icecreamandfrenchfries.blogspot.com\/2012\/06\/diy-fireplace-mantel.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">mantel<\/a> itself is a piece of reclaimed wood we rescued from our neighbors yard a few years ago. Last year we installed the wood insert and it&#8217;s been a great investment. I still love the flesh mount. It just gives the fireplace a nice clean look.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/merry-mantel-3-1024x682.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/merry-mantel-3-1024x682.jpg\" height=\"426\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThis year I decided to work around the mirror and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/listing\/71302820\/antler-silhouette-screenprint-125-x-19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">antler print<\/a>. I spruced up some garland with red &amp; white ornaments and pine cones from our yard <span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">(Mountain living <\/span><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">perk<\/span>)<\/span>. I pulled together the look with&nbsp; brass candle-holders &amp; white candles on one end and a stick reindeer, I purchased at TJ Maxx last season, on the other end. <\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/merrymantel2-1024x682.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/merrymantel2-1024x682.jpg\" height=\"426\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nLastly, the stockings. The hubby placed hooks under the mantel for our stockings. If you can&#8217;t tell the hubby&#8217;s stocking is from his childhood. I&#8217;m pretty sure his grandmother made it!<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/merry-mantel-4-682x1024.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/merry-mantel-4-682x1024.jpg\" height=\"640\" width=\"426\" \/>&nbsp;<\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\">\nThere you have it, our 2013 mantel.
