\nYears ago I was introduced to kombucha tea by a friend. It’s an acquired taste that has grown on me. What is kombucha tea? Simply put, kombucha tea is a beverage produced by fermenting sweet tea with

\nWhole Foods Market recently started carrying Health-Ade Kombucha Teas<\/a> ($4.99\/16 oz.)<\/i> and sent me a few flavors to test out. <\/div>\n

My thoughts.<\/b><\/p>\n

Since I’m pregnant I decided to only have a little taster. Nick enjoyed the rest. So it’s really a combo of “our” thoughts.<\/p>\n

I personally don’t drink Kombucha daily or even weekly. Typically I’ll buy it when I’m feeling a little off my game, if my stomach is upset, or when I want something other than water, tea, juice etc.<\/p>\n

Over the last few weeks we’ve enjoyed Health-Ade Kombucha teas either with breakfast, lunch or just an afternoon pick-me-up. The drink offers a bit of carbonation without it being too much. (side note: I’m not a soda drinker so too much carbonation gets to me.)<\/i><\/p>\n

Health-Ade offers eight flavors<\/a>. Of the three we tried Nick and I both agreed the Pink Lady Apple was our favorite. It was the perfect combo of sweet and bitter. I felt the plum was a bit too much and the original just didn’t move me, but then I’ve never been a big fan of straight kombucha tea.<\/p>\n
