Naturally when Influentser sent yours truly a coupon to test a&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/earthbalancenatural.com\/product\/creamy-peanut-butter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Earth Balance spread<\/a>&nbsp;I knew I had to pick up some PB and make cookies. Good thing I&#8217;m breast feeding and don&#8217;t really have to worry about the calories when I eat five cookies in a day! Yup, I went there.<\/p>\n<p>Previously I had never tried any Earth Balance products. I was unsure as it&#8217;s marketed as &#8220;vegan.&#8221; To my surprise the pb was pretty amazing &#8212; rich, creamy and super smooth. The agave added a nice sweetness without losing the peanut butter flavor or texture. Overall, I would potentially purchase again especially if it&#8217;s on sale.<\/p>\n<p>Pros:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sweetened with agave<\/li>\n<li>Vegan<\/li>\n<li>No GMOS<\/li>\n<li>Smooth and creamy<\/li>\n<li>The added flaxseed doesn&#8217;t change taste or consistency&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\nCons:<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Price &#8212; A 16 oz jar at my supermarket runs $6.39. If you&#8217;re like me you&#8217;ll go through it in a week. That&#8217;s a bit much.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>\nEarth balance offers a number of nut butters and next time I&#8217;m definitely going to pick up a jar of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/earthbalancenatural.com\/product\/creamy-coconut-peanut-spread\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">coconut peanut butter<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/EarthBalancePB-1024x806.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/ahappyhealthyhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/EarthBalancePB-1024x806.jpg\" height=\"502\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\nNow for the good stuff &#8212; cookies! Grease or line cookie sheet.<\/p>\n<p>Whisk together:<br \/>\n1 1\/2 Flour<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp baking soda<\/p>\n<p>Beat in a large bowl until well blended.<br \/>\n1\/3 cup butter<br \/>\n1\/2 cup sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 cup packed brown sugar<\/p>\n<p>Beat in:<br \/>\n1 large egg<br \/>\n1 cup creamy Earth Balance Peanut Butter<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp vanilla<\/p>\n<p>Stir in the flour mixture until blended. Shape into 1-inch balls and arrange about 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Press flat with a fork and bake about 10-12 minutes. let stand briefly, then remove to a rack to cool.
