Although Roxy is 7+  she chases squirrels, birds and rabbits all day in our yard, but I still wonder. \nLet’s just cut to the chase. Overall, if you have an escape artist I would highly recommend Whistle<\/a> GPS Pet Tracker. It will save you the hassle [and embarrassment] of driving up and down your street calling your dog.<\/p>\n

Pros:
\n– Texts alerts when the dog leaves the ‘zone.’
\n– I can easily see how active she’s been.
\n– Now that she’s an old lady I can set up vitamin and\/or medication reminders
\n– Peace of Mind — PRICELESS<\/p>\n

Cons:
\n– False alarm texts… I would receive texts saying Roxy was out of her zone even though she was on her bed. I chalk this up to mountain living.
\n– It’s somewhat bulky on her collar
\n– I had to charge it every 3ish days — This is just annoying.<\/p>\n

So what will we do after our complementary service is up? I’ll probably cancel the service and then activate it when we’re out of town since it’s only $9.95 a month — it’s totally worth it.<\/p>\n
