The answer typically is &#8211; Anything I want! Of course, it has to fit within my numbers, but nothing is really off limits.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s get real for a minute. I use to think oh I shouldn&#8217;t eat this or that and avocado is healthy. The fact of the matter is sugar is sugar and fat is fat. While avocado is a &#8220;good&#8221; fat it&#8217;s still fat. So if you&#8217;re eating a half a medium avocado a day (which I use to between breakfast and lunch) you&#8217;re eating roughly 11 grams of fat! Yup, I bet you didn&#8217;t know that because I surely didn&#8217;t. I&#8217;m not saying don&#8217;t eat it I&#8217;m just saying it&#8217;s time to think about the amount of foods you&#8217;re eating throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p>Before I started counting macros I was high on carbs and fat, but now I&#8217;m balanced. Once I started eating a balanced ratio I started to see a shift not only in weight, but overall body composition. I should also mention I feel amazing, my skins looks better than ever and my body is processing food efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>So you want to know what I eat? During the week I&#8217;m pretty boring, but here&#8217;s roughly what my day &nbsp;looks like:<br \/>\n<b><br \/><\/b><br \/>\n<b>Breakfast<\/b><br \/>\nSlice Sourdough toast<br \/>\n.40 oz unsalted butter<br \/>\n92 grams eggs whites (from 2-3 eggs), salt + pepper to taste<br \/>\n1-2 tbsp salsa<br \/>\n1 cup coffee<br \/>\n2 tbsp vanilla coconut creamer<br \/>\n(most days there&#8217;s a second cup of coffee and I always build it in as a just in case)<\/p>\n<p><b>Lunch<\/b><br \/>\n1.5 oz baby spinach<br \/>\n50g diced bell pepper<br \/>\n2 oz diced cucumber<br \/>\n1 hard boiled egg (sometimes no yolk &#8212; depending if I have the extra fat)<br \/>\n3 oz shredded chicken<br \/>\n2 tbsp boathouse dressing<\/p>\n<p><b>Dinner<\/b><br \/>\n133g roasted sweet potatoes<br \/>\n100g Roasted Broccoli<br \/>\n5 oz Shredded or Grilled Chicken<br \/>\n2 tbsp hot salsa<\/p>\n<p><b>Snacks<\/b><br \/>\nProtein Shake (43g <a href=\"http:\/\/rstyle.me\/n\/cp22x5bk8qf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amazing Grass<\/a>, 1 oz spinach, 1 oz strawberries, 1 cup water and a few ice cubes)<br \/>\nRed Top Plain greek Yogurt topped with 1 oz strawberries and 1 tsp honey or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00ABKWSTA\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=icecreandfref-20&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;creativeASIN=B00ABKWSTA&amp;linkId=0010bc9a9c3a9001d841c7f931d48837\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chocolate PB2<\/a><br \/>\n2 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B01J14K2W6\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=icecreandfref-20&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;creativeASIN=B01J14K2W6&amp;linkId=3ba9444a240050a378acba37d2fe3313\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Caramel Rice Cakes<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Currently, I try to hit the following numbers:<b>&nbsp;<\/b>150g Carbs, 42 grams Fat and 115g protein totaling 1,438 calories. This will change as we shift from the &#8220;cut&#8221; phase to the &#8220;rebuilding&#8221; phase.<\/p>\n<p>Alright, I challenge you to track your food for a day and to see what you&#8217;re really eating. Be honest with yourself. Is it balanced? Are you eating enough food?
